All of the people we had dealings with were attentive and your patience with dealing with our changes to the design and décor was explemeray. The quality of the workmanship is superb and the end result not only blends in well with the house but is a most valuable addition to the property as a whole. I just wanted to drop you a note to say how pleased we are with our conservatory. As you know, it was finished (all save the final painting and glass-cleaning) at Christmas last year. So now we have lived with it through the frosts of winter, the heatwave this summer and this week's torrential rain. It has been great all year round. In the winter the morning sun heats it up and the radiators keep that going through the day; in the summer we have opened all the doors and windows and had a lovely cooling breeze. And it has stood up to the very wet weather with no trouble - not a drop.
Thank you particularly for spending time with me when we were planning the size and shape. It was a great help to see your conservatory and to work out how the furniture might fit in ours. We decided, as you know, to make it a bit bigger, and
we are very glad we did. It serves as a sitting room, dining roan and just a nice place to be. Lots of people have complimented us on how well it looks and how it fits in so well with the original house.

Just to say how really delighted we are with our conservatory!
Our cottage has always been short of another downstairs room and now we have it - but it is so much more than just another room because when we are in it we are surrounded by our garden so that we feel part of it and at peace. In fad we spend most of our time in it soaking up the ambience. We have turned it into a dining room and in the evenings it is so nice to take time over eating meals.
We were unsure of the colour when we ordered it but it just complements the conservatory so well. I have painted the bedroom window above in the same colour (1 made it in the same style as the conservatory windows) and in time the rest of the cottage windows will be replaced with sash windows in the same style and colour. We made the right choice of window style - they are really in keeping with the property.
We are so pleased we dose Aurora; the build quality is really good and impresses all our visitors. The construction was straightforward but time consuming; for example I hard-chiseled all the stone which took forever but the really tedious part was the wet glazing system (thanks for your help when it was required here).
It was worth having the extra windows because even when the sun is at its hottest we can moderate the temperature inside, even without blinds. The argon filled k-glass double glazing also does its job in winter so that the two relatively small radiators keep us warm in sub-zero outside temperatures.
The conservatory is built onto the kitchen where the window used to be. The stone below the window was removed making a double-door (French window) opening into the conservatory. Because of the different levels, the floor of the conservatory is about 40cm below the kitchen floor so there are a couple of stone steps to negotiate. But the change in levels seen from the kitchen is a really nice feature and was a much better option than raising the conservatory floor.

We would just like to say how delighted we are with our lovely conservatory. Although it was only finished last month it seems to have been there forever, because it blends so perfectly into its surroundings. We know that we are going to get so much pleasure from it in the future.
